  1. I thought that the toy was very expensive, but I am inclined to think now that it was worth the money! My cat does not play much, and gets bored with toys very quickly. This toy he absolutely loves, and I have great fun watching him play. Recommended.

The Good: This has kept my CatMonster busy for hours. She stalks it, she pounces it, and sometimes she just sits and watches it for a half hour as it moves.

The Bad: The motor seems to be a bit weak. After only 2 weeks of ownership, with it turned on for maybe an hour a day, the motor is starting to struggle more than at the start. It isnt the batteries, I just replaced them. So, I just hope it doesnt deteriorate any further.

Wishlist: Make a version that is programmable! Or reacts to the cats interests! She gets bored with some of its movements but loves it when it wags back and forth

  3. Blanx says:

Little rescued urchin Lucy LOVES playtime. This is the only toy we have that she will play with alone usually for around 20 minutes at a time. Even then after she wanders off to find something else to do within a minute or two it catches her eye and she can’t resist coming back for another attempt at catching the hiding mouse. The ‘mouse’ is replaceable, but I do agree with the previous reviewer in that I’m a little concerned that the motor sounds like it might wear out quickly but it’s one of our better cat buys so I don’t regret buying it.

  4. We just adopted 2 young cats which are full of energy…ie they are up a lot of the night waking us up. I thought if we wore them out a bit before bedtime, we might get some sleep. Well, that hasn’t worked, but the cats love this toy. They get up as soon as they see us putting the charged batteries in. Eventually, they stop playing, but they come back again and again….

Someone bought this for my cat and she absolutely adores it. She can literally spend hours watching it and bopping it – pity I can’t afford the constant supply of batteries required to keep the thing going for hours!

I would have given it five stars, but the battery usage is a bit of a nuisance especially when I’m met with such a forlorn look when it has to be turned off.

It’s not the most aesthetically pleasing cat toy I’ve seen, but that doesn’t seem to bother my cat.
