Be very careful on pet insurance, some of them are known for not paying if they can get out of it .only get it by recommendation from proven cases. The RSPCA may be able to help you out.

You also need to be very careful if you change, as the majority of insurers won’t pay for any condition which existed before the policy was taken out, or within the first 14-28 days of the policy being taken out.

    Unfortunately,as with all insurances,if you change it,they won’t cover a ‘pre-existing’ condition.

Sorry to hear that. I think most pet insurance is a con. Mine won’t pay out for skin allergies spots etc. We have spent £350.00 so far thinking this will be part returned but NOPE. There was a small paragraph in the ‘fonts too small to read’ section !!!

I think that you will find that switching won’t help as your pet’s condition is already in existance and thus won’t be covered.

Your best bet would be to write a letter of complaint to More Th>n, explaining the circumstances and that you feel that you are not being treated fairly. If they don’t reconsider and you still feel agrieved then you will have the right to take matters to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
