Your best bet would be to write a letter of complaint to More Th>n, explaining the circumstances and that you feel that you are not being treated fairly. If they don't reconsider and you still feel agrieved then you will have the right to take matters to the Financial Ombudsman Service. I think most pet insurance is a con. Mine won't pay out for skin allergies spots etc. We have spent £350.00 so far thinking this will be part returned but NOPE.
