Must I pay pet insurance after my pet dies?
We’ve had Pet Insurance for 6 months. Our dog became ill and died. We made a claim for the vet bill. The claim was paid minus the excess which we expected. The insurance was cancelled by the Insurance company and they deducted the balance for the 6 months remaining of the years policy saying we must pay even though our dog had died. Is this usual? Do all companies do that? We now have another dog and want to find a different Insurance company or are they all the same?
